Former THE O.C. star RACHEL BILSON is determined never to be photographed without her underwear - slamming "careless" celebrities for allowing snappers to get shots of their private parts.
The actress insists stars should be more careful when they are out and about as there are plenty of ways they can protect themselves from the waiting paparazzi.
Bilson is convinced it's easy to escape unwanted press attention - by avoiding well-known celebrity nightspots and always remembering to wear undergarments.
MISCHA BARTON is bidding to escape with probation when she is sentenced for driving under the influence in April (08).
The actress was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and driving without a license this week (27Feb08), following her arrest in West Hollywood in December (07).
On Thursday (28Feb08), a Beverly Hills court granted a continuance, but Barton's lawyer Anthony Salerno is confident he can secure a deal for the star before the next hearing on 10 April (08) - an agreement which is expected to involve probation plus alcohol awareness classes, reports PageSix.com.
Olivia Wilde's Scanty pajama pants and other celebrity items are currently up for auction to raise money for children's charities. Check out http://www.clothesoffourback.org to bid on the clothes through March 12!
Young actress Rachel Bilson posed for the latest edition of GQ Magazine. Although she stated that her naked body would never be seen on the small screen, it seems that her career was spiced up by her striptease for the American magazine GQ.
The star from the series The O.C. has posed in provocative lingerie. Sexy, tasty and with a drop of vintage style, almost like Dita Von Teese, just without heavy makeup.
The 26-year-old actress was placed in 6th position of Maxim Magazine's "Hot 100 list", and managed 28th in FHM's "100 Sexiest Women in the World". According to People Magazine she is among the top 50 most beautiful people in the world.
Celebrities don't get yearbook photos. They suffer mugshots. So consider Mischa Barton's education in the pathology of fame complete.
"I've been recently told I'm a public figure, which I didn't quite realize, which I suppose I should have," says Barton, who turned 22 on Thursday. "But you figure those things out as you go. There's a learning curve."
It's a lesson the lithe blond, ex of The O.C., was very publicly schooled in last month when she was charged with DUI. Her mugshot -- nowhere near as frightful as the celebrated scraggly snapshot of post-arrest Nick Nolte -- raced across the Internet, another example of Young Hollywood apparently off the rails. She made the damage-control rounds in the days following her bust, dismissing her actions as "stupid."
Says Barton now, "I'm going to make mistakes. I'm a person. I live life. It's going to be good, it's going to be bad, it's going to be a lot of different things, but at least it's life ... I think the saddest thing is when actors become too insulated."
Thus, even here at Sundance, where she's promoting the stylish, satirical mystery The Assassination of a High School President, she plans to ski and shop and not stay holed up in her hotel room. She's even amused by the hordes of paparazzi lining snow-encrusted Main Street.
Antonia Bernath - who played sexy but clueless Chloe in hit film - criticised the former OC actress for turning up for the shooting of her blink-and-you’ll-miss-it performance completely unprepared.
She said: "Her role was tiny. She was only there for about a day. Don't get me started on Mischa Barton.
"She didn't know her lines or anything."
One part that Mischa did play well, according to Bernath, was that of the perfectly-polished L.A. starlet.
