My Little Pretty

My Little Pretty
Jewelry designer Kristy Nuttall has been making beautiful things her entire life. Always creative, she's had a variety of ambitious art projects in the works since she was old enough to tie her shoes. In the early 90's, after noticing a dainty necklace of a character on the television show "Friends" and the explosive popularity of the same necklace in the general public, Kristy said to herself, "Heck, I can make that."

Little did she know her hobby would lead to the creation of her jewelry business, My Little Pretty. She made one simple necklace--people noticed and commented on it. Jewlery designing soon became Kristy's passion. Wearing her own creations always led to curious admirers wondering where she found such eye-catching necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Her beaded, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces were eagerly sought-after by friends and family, who were constantly asked where they got such original pieces.

Kristy expanded her budding jewelry business in 2000 with in-home parties for friends and friends-of-friends. Word of mouth spread with each party. Her loyal My Little Pretty customers say it's the energy and emotion she puts into each of her pieces that makes everyone adore her designs. Using everything from porcelain beads to coral stones to antique crystals, Kristy blends earthy elements and sparkling gems to create her own signature style.

In 2002, Kristy decided to give her hobby-turned-business a name. A fan of the Wizard of Oz, she chose "My Little Pretty". Today, she has customers throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Take a moment to browse through www.MyLittlePretty.com, you'll find testimonials that rave about her sweet, stylish designs. Every piece is one-of-a-kind and reasonably priced; customized pieces can also be made. Kristy shops high and low to find quality beads, charms, and jewels to make each creation stand out in the crowd. It's much more than a hobby for Kristy now, it's an adventure that she's grown to love over the years. You'll feel it in her passionate artistry ... come and be a part of her "charmed" journey.

FanBolt Recommendations:

We’re huge fans of My Little Pretty here at The OC Online. The pieces from this collection are just simply breathtaking, not only in design, but also in quality. There is so much versatility with the pieces in this collection. You can pair one of the necklaces with a cocktail dress for a more glam look for a night out on the town, or you can create a simply stunning ensemble by pairing one of the necklaces with a basic tank top and a pair of jeans. My Little Pretty has had pieces worn on various television shows including Gilmore Girls and America’s Next Top Model (2006 Season) and has also been spotted on quite a few celebs including Angelina Jolie, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Ashlee Simpson, Gwen Stefani, Charlize Theron, and Adam Brody’s costar in Thank You For Smoking, Diane Lane.

So how can you accessorize with My Little Pretty to achieve that OC look? Simple. These pieces really do all the work for you; they will make any outfit look like a million bucks.

If you want a Summer Roberts look, try taking necklace #1 and pairing it with a white loose spaghetti strap top like the one Summer wore here in the episode Anger Management (Season 3). We love this look, especially when you add in a cute denim skirt or a classic pair of blue jeans!

If Taylor Townsend has the look you like, then try pairing necklace #2 with a light blue sweater over an olive color tank top. It will create a stylish contrast, and give you a look similar to Taylor’s look here in the episode The Safe Harbor (Season 3). We think Taylor’s ensemble would have been perfect with the addition of this necklace! We also think that you could pull a Summer with this one and pair it with a burgundy tank top like she wore here in the episode The Game Plan (Season 3).

For a Julie Cooper at work look, you could pair necklace #3 with a white button up shirt and a black calf-length skirt. If you can, throw in some thin black frame glasses for a serious yet sexy look.
