The first idea for an Eden Dawn tee was born on a rainy Portland day. Having spent all day studying ancient Greek tunics for her Master’s degree Eden was prepping to go out for cocktail hour with her girlfriends. Cozy in her t-shirt and cuffed dark jeans but no where near stylish enough for a night out in the city she wished there was a top that could be comfortable enough for lounging but fabulous enough to wear out. The idea sparked somewhere in the back of her brain behind all the thoughts of Athens and embroidery. Combining her intense love of fashion history with her penchant for comfort Eden Dawn Apparel was officially conceived.
The line was her way to pay homage to the world’s greatest couture designers. Men and women who shaped society as we know it with the raise of a hemline or introducing ready to wear pants into the mainstream. Within a few months the idea would come to fruition with the right garments in wonderful colors, textures and styles. And all would display illustrations from the past.
Retro, timeless, classic…
Eden Dawn Apparel has been featured everywhere from Elle Girl to Instyle.Com and in celebrity giftbags for Lindsay Lohan to Eva Mendes. Most recently, her spring line was asked to be the finale for the Portland Fashion Week.

We absolutely adore Eden Dawn’s clothing line! The line of graphic tee’s, tanks, hoodies, intimates, and skirts is adorned with fashion illustrations that are truly timeless. This is a line that pays homage to the great fashion d esigners and fashion movements of the past, and OC is a show all about fashion, so how can we not draw a connection between the two?
We could easily see Summer lounging around in 1953 tee or the 1949 Dior tee. You could also pair these shirts with a pair of cute white cut-offs for an ultra cute look that would have you covered for spring and summer. For Kaitlin we would pick the Mystery Tank, word of advice on this one though girls, the sizing runs a bit small on this tank, so if you normally wear a small, consider a medium, unless you’re really tiny! The other shirts fit true to size and will not only look adorable on you, but they will also be among some of the most comfy clothing you will ever wear! You can’t really ask for anything more!
